PC Chaos

Well, I'm having pc problems at home this morning...instead of Windows loading, I get a black screen with a blinking cursor. I've had this problem once before, but I can't remember exactly what I did to fix it last time. Anyway, as soon as I get this sorted out, I'll be back online. Just thought I'd drop a note in case this takes longer than a day or so.

Ya, between resetting my CMOS battery and reseating my RAM chips, it finally managed to boot. I wish I knew more about what causes this to happen, but some things I just can't explain. At least I didn't have to wipe it and start over.
